(gg allin getting Head on stage!!!).
By mid to late 80's...at this point G.G. Allin began eating laxatives before performances as defecation was becoming a regular stage act. G.G. Allin described himself as "the last Rock n Rolla" by this,he meant that rock n roll music itself had started as an embodiment of danger,anti-authoritarianism,and rebelliousness but had become largely taken over by corporations and business concerns. G.G. Allin's music and perfomances were thus meant to return to what he saw as its roots, reclaiming it from the corporate system. During this time he collaborated with Bulge also known as...'psycho' under a different psuedo-name on the album(s):_ (FREAKS,faggots, DRUNKS and junkies), The A.I.D.S BRIGADE(the 7" E.P- Expose yourself to kids) and The Holymen(...you give love a bad name). G.G. Allin began performing spoken word pieces.(video footage of these is available but Rare!). Unwilling to seek steady employment,G.G. Allin supported himself by selling his own records. He was also fascinated with serial killers. He wrote to and sometimes visited John Wayne Gacy in prison a number of times and Gacy painted a portrait of G.G. Allin, which became the album cover to the soundtrack of the film documentary-HATED: G.G. ALLIN&the murder junkies. When asked about G.G. Allin,Gacy said:"G.G.,great kid, love 'em to death but if he doesn't stink like the worst pissy ass wino" Another attraction to G.G. Allin performances was his cardinal threats of suicide. In 1988,he wrote to Maximum RocknRoll stating he would commit suicide on Halloween 1989. However,he was in jail when that day came. He continued his threats every year but ended up imprisoned each following Halloween. When asked about it,he always stated:"with G.G. you don't always get what you expect-you get what you deserve!" He also said suicide should only be done when one had reached his peak meeting his afterlife at his strongest point and not at his weakest. *1989:(trial&imprisonment)- In 1989,G.G. Allin was charged with rape and torture of a female acquaintance in Ana Arbor,Michigan. Earlier in the year,he had been signed by Enigma Records(Enigma had a distribution with EMI/Capitol at the time and for all intents and purposes a major label). In a psychological evaluation made as part of the trial,it was asserted that he did have behaviours consistent with masochism and narcissism and displayed symptoms of borderline personality disorder and bipolar. G.G. Allin initially denied the charges, claiming the woman was a willing participant in sexual activities with him. According to Allin,he cut her, burned her, drank her blood and she did the same thing to him. He also claimed in consistancies in the woman's statements to authorities supported his assertions and the judge in the case agreed there were substantial in the woman's account of the story. Ultimately, however, Allin plea bargained to reduced felony assault charges and was imprisoned from December 20th,1989-March26th,1991. It was during this time that he began to feel re-energized about his life and "mission" as he put it. He wrote and published the G.G. ALLIN Manifesto(1990) during this period. *HATED: (documentary)- After his release from prison,he skipped parole to go on another tour, footage of which made it into Todd Phillip's documentary Hated:G.G. Allin&the murder junkies. The film came out in 1994 and was released on DVD in 1997. During the 90's G.G. Allin recorded his Murder Junkies album released by New Rose Records featuring band...AntiSeen. This album contained ten musical tracks and ten spoken word pieces. It was also during this period that he recorded and released 'the war in my head: (i'm your enemy) on Awarness Records featuring the band- Shrinkwrap. This recording constists of one 45 minute long track, which is a collage of spoken word pieces that Shinkwrap put to music.
